Alan Feuer, et al., of the New York Times: “The F.B.I. has expanded its criminal investigation into purported irregularities in the 2020 presidential election, issuing a grand jury subpoena for reams of information about voting results in Maricopa County, Ariz., the largest and most influential county in the swing state, according to three people familiar with the matter. The subpoena was issued in recent days to the Arizona State Senate, which oversaw a sprawling but partisan audit of the vote result that was ordered by Senate Republicans in Maricopa County in the months after Donald J. Trump lost to Joseph R. Biden Jr.”

Kirkpatrick of the Washington Post: “More than 4,000 people have been arrested in Minneapolis since the start of Operation Metro Surge in December, and federal judges and civil rights lawyers say many of those detentions broke the law. On Saturday, Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, accused the United States of attacking a desalination plant on Qeshm Island, affecting the water supply for 30 villages. 'The U.S. set this precedent, not Iran,' he said on social media, calling the attack 'a dangerous move with grave consequences.' Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for the U.S. Central Command, said that U.S. forces were not responsible for that attack. A day later, Bahrain’s interior ministry said that an Iranian drone had 'caused material damage' to a desalination plant there, accusing Iran of 'indiscriminately' attacking civilian targets.”

More Evidence the U.S. Attacked Girl's Primary School, Contradicting Trump's Disingenuous Denial. Malachy Browne & John Ismay of the New York Times: “A newly released video adds to the evidence that an American missile likely hit an Iranian elementary school where 175 people, many of them children, were reported killed. The video, uploaded on Sunday by Iran’s semiofficial Mehr News Agency and verified by The New York Times, shows a Tomahawk cruise missile striking a naval base beside the school in the town of Minab on Feb. 28. The U.S. military is the only force involved in the conflict that uses Tomahawk missiles. A body of evidence assembled by The Times — including satellite imagery, social media posts and other verified videos — indicates that the Shajarah Tayyebeh elementary school building was severely damaged by a precision strike that occurred at the same time as attacks on the naval base.... Asked by a reporter from The Times on Saturday if the United States had bombed the school..., [Donald] Trump said: 'No. In my opinion and based on what I’ve seen, that was done by Iran.' David McAfee of the Raw Story: "Fox News over the weekend apologized and admitted to an 'error' after failing to air footage of Donald Trump wearing what some deemed a controversial choice of attire to the dignified transfer of deceased soldiers. On Saturday, Trump came under fire for his behavior during a solemn moment in which six fallen soldiers killed in the president's onslaught against Iran were honored. The president was seen during the event standing upright while others bowed their heads. He was also wearing a white baseball cap during the typically solemn event. Post & Courier: “A woman who claims she was abused as a minor by both Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump has given the FBI vivid accounts that include aspects of her life corroborated by the The Post and Courier through public records. Her alleged encounter with Trump sometime around 1984 remains unproven, and the White House March 7 said there is 'zero credible evidence' that the woman’s account is true. Using archived government records and news accounts, The Post and Courier found that the woman provided verifiable details to agents about her family background and its legal entanglements. She offered the name of an Epstein business associate on Hilton Head Island who became a central figure in the drama, with specifics that are reflected in public records. The accounts describe an early phase in the mid-1980s of potential criminal conduct by Epstein that involved sexual activities with minors on Hilton Head.
“The alleged victim told the FBI she was under constant pressure from him to recruit more girls there to 'come party' with him and his 'disgusting' older friends. The incidents almost always involved drugs and alcohol and turned violent with hair-pulling and beatings, according to the woman.... A friend of hers also reported the allegations about Trump to the FBI in 2019.... Of the details that The Post and Courier found supported by public records, none related directly to the alleged victim’s claims about Trump.”

So the disgusting PR hacks at Fat Hitler's Führerbunker (aka the Blight House) release a video comparing a war in which over 1,300 Iranians and at least seven Americans have been killed to a video game or a movie. It's all a game to Cadet Bone Spurs and Drunk Pete apparently. And let's not forget that when asked whether he might put boots on the ground, that disgusting coward said "I don't get they yips!" He's using a term most often heard on golf courses if a player misses a putt or hits a ball into the woods. So what he's saying is that he won't miss the chance to "sink a big putt" when it comes to putting American lives on the line.
Who thinks like this? Someone who has never been within thousands of miles of a shooting war, someone who sees himself as a colossus bestriding the planet and deciding who lives and who dies while sipping his Diet Coke.
And someone who has not exactly had a spotless record when it comes to considering military sacrifice, a documented coward who ran from service with a made up physical ailment while others went to war, who called their sacrifice something for losers and suckers, who doesn't want to be seen with wounded or disabled vets because "it doesn't look good for me".
And before I forget, no one on a golf course is liable to "get the yips" if he's got a caddy who will helpfully kick his master;'s ball into the hole after he misses a putt by 10 feet or more, or hits it into the rough. He cheats at everything. Even when the lives of other human beings are at stake. Because it all has to "look good for me".

I have to say that of all the scary shit being propagated by this horror show of an administration, the idea that they are perhaps hoping for some kind of terror attack inside the country that would allow them to declare martial law and cancel the midterms is at once horrific but entirely believable. Fatty's number one concern right now, and it behooves all of us not to forget this, is the midterm election. Everything points to the Party of Traitors losing control of at least one chamber of the legislature, and maybe both. If either of those possibilities comes to pass, Fat Hitler's thousand year Reich is over.
He will do anything in his power to prevent that from happening, whether that's through rigging the election, voter suppression, disinformation, Department of Injustice and FBI phony investigations leading to whatever he likes, or simply shutting down the election all together, he WILL try any or all of these schemes. And even though the idea that he and Himmler Miller and the other scheming monkeys surrounding the Dear Leader not only welcome but might be encouraging a possible domestic terror attack sounds unthinkable, it's not. Not for these people.
We've been through so many situations where the received wisdom has been "Well, he'd never do THAT" followed directly by him doing exactly that, that we cannot allow ourselves to be fooled again. He absolutely would put American lives at risk to save himself. He's doing it RIGHT NOW. He will do it again.
What are the Democrats doing? We can't rely on the media. They are benighted and struck dumb by years of debilitation from Both-Sides Disease. We've been saying that it's up to us, at the polls, to take control of the situation, but that's exactly where he and his band of cutthroats will strike.

The New York Times offers an eye popping look at the interior of the Führerbunker, aka the Blight House, in its current state as a gaudy, gewgaw bedecked playpen for the Fat Fascist, dressed up like a garish, depressingly tacky bordello with gigantic portraits of the Orange Monster everywhere one looks.
He has pulled down a portrait of President Obama and stuck up another cartoonish image of himself bravely facing down an assassin (so MANLY!).
It's a sad, sick trip through the psyche of a vain, venal, and incredibly insecure little man, one who must surround himself with reminders of the man he desperately wants everyone to believe he truly is. A picture of him with Reagan and Lincoln makes sure to put him front and center, and those other two pikers in the background. Every image depicts him as a snarling tough guy, the kind of look you'd see on a dyspeptic six year old who has been told it's time for bed and he has to stop torturing the cat.
Now he wants his face on both sides of some newly minted coin (only losers like Washington and Lincoln have their faces on one side).
This is more than just narcissism. This is off the charts megalomania combined with a six year old's mental abilities combined with some kind of dementia that disallows any real information from the real world.

Greek city states defeated Xerxes' army and navy at the battles of Marathon, Salamis, and Plataea between 479 and 490 BCE. Alexander the Great did the same around 330 BCE. Ghengis Khan also defeated Persia in the 13th century. Too bad none of those historical worthies are the equal of the great Donald! He sat on his ass and drank Diet Cokes and watched Fox call him a great general. Those other guys, Leonidas, Themistocles, Alexander, and Ghengis Khan had to actually mix it up in hand to hand combat. Not Fatty.
